Basketball Recap: Glenburn Comes Up Short

Glenburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by Powers Lake/Burke Central and fell 92-46. If the Panther were looking for revenge after losing 74-41 to Powers Lake/Burke Central when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Glenburn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Powers Lake/Burke Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Glenburn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-51 loss against Drake/Anamoose on the 5th. As for Powers Lake/Burke Central, they will square off against Stanley at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
