Basketball Recap: Sharpsville Falls to Laurel in First Game of Season

Sharpsville had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 50-27 to the Laurel Spartans on Friday. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Looking ahead, Sharpsville and Riverside will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Laurel, they will take on Ellwood City at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
