Football Game Preview: Flushing Red Devils vs. Boys & Girls Kangaroos

After each having a week off, the Flushing Red Devils and the Boys & Girls Kangaroos will shake off the rust and duke it out on Sunday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Two weeks ago, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Flushing beat Jamaica 12-6.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Boys & Girls over Beach Channel in every quarter on their way to victory two weeks ago. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Kangaroos blew the Dolphins out of the water with a 47-0 final score. The Kangaroos pushed the score to 35-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dolphins had no chance of recovering from.

The win got Flushing back to even at 1-1. As for Boys & Girls, their record is now 2-0.

Flushing took a serious blow against Boys & Girls in their previous matchup back in October of 2018, falling 58-0. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
