Oaks-Mission was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 22-14 to the Foyil Panthers. On the bright side, the 14- run effort marked the Warriors' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Malakye Hawley and Braden Smith stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hawley scored four runs and stole five bases while going 4-for-4, while Smith scored four runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Hawley also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Ketcher Kirk was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Oaks-Mission's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Foyil, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15.

Looking ahead, Oaks-Mission will host Keys at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Foyil, they will venture away from home to face off against Afton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
