The Wolf Pack's defense stepped up to hand the Malemutes a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. The contest marked West Valley's most dominant win of the season so far.

Their offense was hitting Lathrop from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Quinn Willis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wasilla, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against Eagle River by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for Wasilla in their matchups with Eagle River: they've now won three in a row.

West Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Wasilla, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-5-2.

West Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Wasilla in their previous matchup back in April, winning 3-1. Will the Wolf Pack repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
