Basketball Recap: Brooklyn Center Takes a Loss

Brooklyn Center came up into this matchup off a tough 30-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Kennedy Eagles by a score of 67-65 on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Centaurs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Brooklyn Center's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brooklyn Center won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Robbinsdale Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Robbinsdale Cooper's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. As for Kennedy, they and Richfield will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Richfield will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Kennedy surely won't give up without a fight.
