Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cerritos). They blew past the Pioneer Titans 70-14 at home on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Dons, who have now won four games by 25 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cerritos to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justin Sagun, who threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Dikshanta Adhikari, who gained 144 total yards and two touchdowns.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Cerritos was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 255 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pioneer only rushed for 68.

Cerritos didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Marnell Smith and Josh Teshome.

Although Pioneer took the loss, they still got scores from Jose Rojas and Joshua Morlet.

Cerritos pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Pioneer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
