Basketball Game Preview: Clear Creek Golddiggers vs. Estes Park Bobcats

The Clear Creek Golddiggers will face off against the Estes Park Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Clear Creek had to suffer through a 80-18 loss at the hands of Bishop Machebeuf. The matchup marked the Golddiggers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Estes Park lost to SkyView Academy at home by a 50-35 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Hawks are ranked 54th).

Clear Creek has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Estes Park, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
