Recap: Clifton Central Comets vs. Grant Park Dragons
The Clifton Central Comets's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They took down Grant Park 62-46. This was payback for Clifton Central, who suffered a 59-46 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Clifton Central found their leader in underclassman Blake Chandler, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Chandler hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Perry Mason was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Clifton Central pushed their record up to 14-6 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Grant Park, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
