Football Recap: Snowflake Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Jacob Laduke and Brenner Green

If Snowflake was riding high fresh off their 41-13 takedown of Mesquite last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lobos took a 32-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arcadia Titans on Friday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Lobos, who until this game were averaging 14.2 points allowed.

Snowflake's loss came despite strong showings from Brenner Green and Jacob LaDuke. Green rushed for 62 yards and three touchdowns, while LaDuke rushed for 106 yards on only 12 carries. Green has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

It was another big night for Ryan Jimenez, who rushed for 250 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for eight yards and one TD for Arcadia. Those 250 rushing yards gave Jimenez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ian Slater, who picked up 88 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Snowflake fell to 9-1. As for Arcadia, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

As of now, neither Snowflake nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
