Alexis came up big in Herron's 50-30 loss
Maya Alexis turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday: she scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and six steals. As if that's not impressive enough, the game was her fourth in a row with two or more steals. On the year, Alexis has averaged 3.8 points, 2.4 steals, and 4.7 rebounds per contest.
Herron's road trip will continue as they head out to face Heritage Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Alexis will face off against Joslyn Marshall on Tuesday, Heritage Christian's star shooting guard. Will Alexis turn in another gem to overcome Herron? We'll have our answer very soon.
