Softball Recap: Troy Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

While Troy put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Harrison. The Trojans didn't even let the Wildcats on the board, marking the Trojans' second-straight 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Amayah Kennedy, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emily May, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs.

The win (which was Troy's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Harrison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coincidentally, Troy and Harrison will both be playing Bradford the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Railroaders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
