Baseball Recap: Handley Continues Home Dominance on Friday

While Handley's win against Randolph County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Handley had just enough and edged out Randolph County 17-16 on Friday. Handley hasn't had any issues with Randolph County recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Handley got a massive performance out of Aden Anthony, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 1-for-4. The dominant performance gave Anthony a new career-high in runs. Cole Davis also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Handley hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Randolph County struck out ten times.

Handley pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games.
