Soccer Game Preview: Farmersville vs. Pilot Point

The Farmersville Farmers will head out to square off against the Pilot Point Bearcats at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Farmersville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Farmersville's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Kemp. The high-scoring effort was just what the Farmers needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

They hit Kemp with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fernando Hernandez, Michael Vasquez, Christian Aguilar, and Jairo Acosta.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Pilot Point's offense. They came up short against Sunnyvale on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pilot Point's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Farmersville, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
