Volleyball Recap: Western Reserve Academy Takes a Loss

Western Reserve Academy was the 2-0 winner over St. Vincent-St. Mary when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pioneers came up short against the Fighting Irish on Wednesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pioneers have suffered since April 3rd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-21.

Western Reserve Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7. As for St. Vincent-St. Mary, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Western Reserve Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Vincent-St. Mary will take on rival Walsh Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
