Baseball Recap: Pacific Comes Up Short

Pacific fell victim to Miller and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 15-0 to the Miller Rebels. Having soared to a lofty 27 runs in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pacific now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Miller, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pacific will host Indian Springs at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Pacific has given up an average of 10.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Miller, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Hesperia at 10:00 a.m.
