Soccer Recap: Fossil Ridge Triumphs

Fossil Ridge won the last time they faced Saginaw and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fossil Ridge Panthers skirted past the Saginaw Rough Riders 2-1. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one goal.

The win made it two in a row for Fossil Ridge and bumps their season record up to 5-9-1. As for Saginaw, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fossil Ridge will take on Granbury at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Granbury's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Saginaw will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Azle at 7:45 p.m. on February 21st.
