Soccer Game Preview: Redondo Union vs. El Segundo

Redondo Union is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will head out to take on the El Segundo Eagles at 6:30 p.m.

Redondo Union is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Animo Leadership on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, El Segundo came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let Wolves get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering El Segundo's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Wiseburn- Da Vinci are ranked 486th).

El Segundo's win bumped their record up to 5-1. With that draw, Redondo Union's record moves to 2-1-1.
