Basketball Recap: South Gwinnett Takes a Loss

South Gwinnett was the 63-46 winner over Rockdale County when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The South Gwinnett Comets came up short against the Rockdale County Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 65-40. That's two games in a row now that the Comets have lost by exactly 25 points.

South Gwinnett has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Rockdale County, their win bumped their record up to 9-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Gwinnett will take on Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Gwinnett is facing Heritage at the right time seeing as Heritage is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Rockdale County, they will square off against Grayson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
