Soccer Recap: East Haven Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wilbur Cross on Tuesday, East Haven came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets lost 9-1 to the Sacred Heart Academy Sharks on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for East Haven in their meetings with Sacred Heart Academy: they've now lost four in a row.

East Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Sacred Heart Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Coming up, East Haven will square off against Cheshire at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sacred Heart Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
