Basketball Game Preview: Grove City Christian Eagles vs. Wellington School Jaguars

The Grove City Christian Eagles will face off against the Wellington School Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Grove City Christian turned things around against Bishop Rosecrans on Saturday. They managed a 43-38 win over the Bishops.

Meanwhile, Wellington School waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 55-22 victory over the Falcons. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Wellington School has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.9 points per game. As for Grove City Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Grove City Christian was taken down by Wellington School 52-20 in their previous meeting on January 9th. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Grove City Christian was down 28-6.
