Baseball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Concord lost against Souhegan back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crimson Tide fell just short of the Sabers by a score of 3-2.

Concord has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Souhegan, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

While Concord had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
