Football Recap: Hughes Comes Up Short

Hughes fell victim to Withrow and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Tigers 30-0. Having soared to a lofty 59 points in the game before, the BIG RED's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hughes now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Withrow, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hughes will face off against rival Aiken on Saturday. Meanwhile, Withrow is set to take on their familiar foe Western Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
