Basketball Recap: Calhoun Academy Cavaliers vs. Wilson Hall Barons
Calhoun Academy lost against Wilson Hall back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Calhoun Academy Cavaliers were beaten by the Wilson Hall Barons 74-42. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Barons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Calhoun Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chase Strickland, who scored nine points plus five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Lindsay, who had 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Having lost for the first time this season, Calhoun Academy fell to 2-1.
Calhoun Academy is taking a road trip to face off against Colleton Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson Hall has already played their next game, a 67-31 win against Florence Christian on the 26th.
