Lawrence County was the 59-54 winner over Floyd Central when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Lawrence County Bulldogs took a 52-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Floyd Central Jaguars. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Floyd Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Crase, who went 5 of 6 on her way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Raegan Laferty, who went 5 for 12 en route to 14 points and eight boards.

Lawrence County now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Floyd Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
