Tai Mize was dynamite on Friday, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. As if that's not impressive enough, the match was her third in a row with one or more stolen base. This year, she has slashed 0.359/0.488/0.578 with 24 runs and just as many RBI, plus 14 stolen bases.

Mize's strong effort led Tri-Village over Fayetteville-Perry and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
