St. Francis entered their tilt with McBain on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Ramblers by a score of 7-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 on Thursday.

Colton Peterson was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Sam Wildfong was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for McBain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Coming up, St. Francis will be playing in front of their home fans against Traverse City Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for McBain, they will head out on the road to take on Manton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
