Softball Preview: Marion County Warriors vs. Signal Mountain Eagles
The Marion County Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Signal Mountain Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Marion County has four straight victories, Signal Mountain has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

The win got Marion County back to even at 10-10. As for Signal Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Marion County came out on top in a nail-biter against Signal Mountain when the teams last played back in April of 2023, sneaking past 13-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
