Baseball Recap: Glendale Takes a Loss

Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors.

Glendale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maniel Manuelian, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Glendale has already played their next contest, a 20-0 defeat against Palm Springs on the 27th. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 victory against Verbum Dei Jesuit on the 27th.
