Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Christian's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Blue Ridge Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They strolled past the United Christian Academy Crusaders with points to spare, taking the game 48-31. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 51-42 victory back in December of 2024.

Blue Ridge Christian's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for United Christian Academy, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Blue Ridge Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Grace Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Blue Ridge Christian's defense has only allowed 29.6 points per game this season, so Grace Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. United Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
