Basketball Game Preview: Riverview Academy Barracudas vs. Universal Academy Falcons

The Riverview Academy Barracudas are taking a road trip to square off against the Universal Academy Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Riverview Academy can't be too happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Monday. They fell 49-43 to Families Instructing Students HomeSchool.

Meanwhile, Universal Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 41-36 to Canterbury. The Falcons have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Riverview Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Universal Academy when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 50-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Barracudas since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
