            Volleyball Recap: University City Centurions vs. Patrick Henry Patriots        
        
		
        
        
            
University City lost against Patrick Henry back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Centurions fell just short of the Patriots by a score of  3-2.
 University City was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Patrick Henry work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 24-26, 16-25,  15-10.
 Danielle Muttera paced University City's offense, picking up 17 kills. Muttera got some help from  Riley Conklin and her 26 assists. Muttera was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
 Among those leading the charge was   Ashlynn Kirchoff, who  had 19  digs and two  aces. Those  19  digs gave  her a new career-high.
University City has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record  this season. As for Patrick Henry, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-11.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. University City is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Mission Bay  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Patrick Henry will  take on  rival Lincoln  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
