Basketball Recap: Medford Comes Up Short

Medford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals 111-51. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 371st, while the Cardinals are ranked 113th).

Medford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Lewiston-Altura, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-8.

As of now, neither Medford nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
