Soccer Game Preview: Kennedy vs. Reseda

The Kennedy Golden Cougars will head out to square off against the Reseda Regents at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Friday just wasn't the day for Kennedy's offense. They fell 2-0 to Sylmar on Friday. Kennedy fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Sylmar since Friday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Reseda, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let Van Nuys get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Friday.

Reseda's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2-1. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-2.

Kennedy came up short against Reseda in their previous meeting back in December of 2025, falling 2-0. Can the Golden Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
