Softball Recap: Nine Straight Road Wins for Ray

Ray had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They never let the Nedrose Cardinals get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Ray Jays, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Ray's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Nedrose, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Coming up, Ray will face off against Watford City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Nedrose does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
