Basketball Recap: Wichita HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Wichita HomeSchool lost against Sunrise Christian Academy back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wichita HomeSchool Warriors took a hard 60-44 fall against the Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Buffaloes 11-7 in the first quarter.

Tomohito Kobari continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sunrise Christian Academy, almost dropping a double-double with 19 points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave Kobari a new career-high in assists. Iyzrel Graham was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to seven assists and three steals.

Wichita HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Sunrise Christian Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.

Looking ahead, Wichita HomeSchool will head out to take on Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sunrise Christian Academy, they will take on Wright Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Sunrise Christian Academy is facing Wright Christian at the right time seeing as Wright Christian is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
