Volleyball Recap: Westview Takes a Loss

Westview saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Highland Hawks. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Highland can attribute much of their success to Ella Byma, who had five aces. Those five aces gave Byma a new career-high.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Highland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Westview will head out on the road to challenge San Marcos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Highland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Torrey Pines on the 11th.
