Soccer Recap: Esperanza Finishes Even with Yucaipa + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Esperanza was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Yucaipa Thunderbirds finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Saturday. The outcome might've been different if Andrew Vasquez-Caicedo hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Esperanza's draw gives them a new season record of 1-0-1. As for Yucaipa, they moved theirs to 0-0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Esperanza will head out to take on Santiago at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Yucaipa, they will square off against Palm Springs at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Palm Springs' last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
