Freedom is 8-2 against John Champe since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Meanwhile, there's no place like home for John Champe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against Rock Ridge on Tuesday as they made off with an 8-0 victory.

The result came thanks to Alex Weisman's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Josh Wallace, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

John Champe pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Freedom, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
