Volleyball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Talawanda Brave. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Brave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

Caroline Rude paced Monroe's offense, picking up five kills. Rude got some help from Lily Mendez-Regules and her seven assists. Khloe Holmes controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Talawanda, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Monroe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Wilmington on the 1st. As for Talawanda, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Colerain on the 30th.
