Baseball Recap: Buena Vista Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Buena Vista's offense. They came up short against the Papillion-LaVista South Titans on Thursday, falling 17-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bison in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost three in a row.

Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Papillion-LaVista South, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Coming up, Buena Vista will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Arlington at 1:00 p.m. The Bison are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Papillion-LaVista South, they will take on Grand Island at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Islanders' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
