Fossil Ridge waltzed into their match on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Windsor Wizards by a score of 8-3.

Brek Benedict looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mason Griffin, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Luc Gaca-Thiele was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Fossil Ridge's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Windsor, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
