St. John came out on top against Windham on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Fighting Herald were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Bombers. The result was nothing new for the Fighting Herald, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Kyle Hejduk, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Aaron Wychock was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

St. John always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

St. John is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Windham, they dropped their record down to 6-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

St. John will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bombers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
