Soccer Recap: Hemlock Takes a Loss

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Hemlock was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 6-1 to the Valley Lutheran Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Valley Lutheran this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 on September 8th.

Hemlock's goal came courtesy of Landon Wardin, who's now up to 13 this season.

Hemlock's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-2. As for Valley Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 8-6-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Hemlock has already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Unionville-Sebewaing on the 2nd. As for Valley Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, an 8-2 loss against Glenn on the 1st.
