The Oakridge Owls will face off against the Houston Christian Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Oakridge faced off against Episcopal School of Dallas on Thursday. The Owls fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 8-7.

Brayden Collins made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Jefferson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Houston Christian waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 12-2 victory. That looming 12-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mustangs yet this season.

Oakridge's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9-1. As for Houston Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
