Lapel had won eight straight road games and Bode Judge did his part to make it nine on Friday. The Lapel Bulldogs blew past the Madison-Grant Argylls 68-31 for which the team can thank Judge, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 11 boards. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least 18 points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Craig, who en route to 12 points and seven assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in February of 2024.
Lapel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points over those games. Madison-Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
Coming up, Lapel will host New Castle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lapel knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully New Castle likes a good challenge. As for Madison-Grant, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-52 win against Eastern on the 22nd.
