Basketball Recap: Ypsilanti Comes Up Short

Ypsilanti was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Dexter Dreadnaughts, falling 65-44. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 69-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Ypsilanti's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Dexter, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ypsilanti will challenge Adrian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dexter, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Bedford at 7:00 p.m. Dexter knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Bedford likes a good challenge.
