Basketball Recap: Surry Central Golden Eagles vs. East Surry Cardinals
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Surry, Surry Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 68-60 win over the East Surry Cardinals. For the Golden Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 74-61 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Surry Central was led to victory by Tripp Mcmillen and Jax Whitaker. Mcmillen went 8 of 13 on his way to 21 points in addition to seven boards and five steals, while Whitaker posted 22 points.
