Volleyball Recap: Oak Lawn Comes Up Short

Oak Lawn and Stagg squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Oak Lawn had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on May 7th.

Charlie Zeiler had an outrageously good game for Stagg as he had 17 digs and one assist.

Oak Lawn's defeat dropped their record down to 24-11. As for Stagg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-14.

Oak Lawn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stagg, they will venture away from home to take on Oak Park-River Forest on Thursday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
