Kelly is a perfect 5-0 against Mansueto since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Leopards at 4:30 p.m. Kelly is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Kelly is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They lost 20-6 to Agricultural Science.

Esteban Ibarra was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off three hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

In other batting news, Alfredo Socorro was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Arturo Martinez, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Mansueto's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 10-7 to Golder.

Mansueto now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Kelly, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.

Kelly beat Mansueto 5-2 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Leopards have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
